Ask a Silly Question
For some reason, Kirkman has been bombarding me with questions out of the blue. Not that I mind being the all knowing and all seeing oracle, but that's what I do at work.
"Gene, my computer is acting funny, help me fix it."
"Gene, I need to order 14,000 lbs. of tuna, where do I go?"
"Gene, I left his mysterious and hush hush material on your desk. You know what to do with it." (I do?)
It's hard being so useful.
. . . . . . . . . .
A shocking gap exists in my emergency preparedness. Simply put, I need to get myself a flashlight and a radio, at the very least, for the next time a blackout type event hits. I've ben toying with the idea of a hand-crank products, but frankly the high costs have been deterring me. So, besides some bottled water, a cheap radio and flashlight, and a snackish type food (maybe an MRE), I'm not too sure what else I'll need for an emergency kit. I do need to get some candles, however, as theydo light up a large area (such as a dark hallway) very nicely.
