I've only taken 1 vacation day this year. I was saving them all for December, to take this major month long vacation. Of course, I now realize that, as a public company, and as a sales office, end -of-year is probably the busiest time of the year. I couldn't have taken vacation if I wanted to. Doh. And, having since lost my old job, I've lost the vacation days that came along with the position. And in my new position, I've yet to work long enough to have earned any vacation time. All of which is putting my plans to see Yimo and Mom and Yimo-boo for Thanksgiving in jeopardy. Not that I'll let that stop me. Some things are more important then semi steady employment, and seeing family for the last time is one of them. But I wish I had used some more vacation days, because I'm beginning to run a little ragged here.
