The Wellesley Visit, Part 1
Got up early this morning, 5:30 am, to get ready for the long car ride. The sad part is that 5:30 am is no longer really early for me anymore. Stupid job.

First thing we did was to go to the store to pick up some last minute items (staples) for
Sarah.
Why we had to stop by the store, a good 20 minutes out of our way, for a box of ordinary staples, that is totally beyond me. But that's what we did.
And then I slept.
And slept.
And slept.
Along the way I passed up on my chance to enjoy the McDonald's Big Breakfast, which is my personal (and only) favorite breakfast thing from the golden arches. But I did get to enjoy some hash brown action. I'm all about the hash brown action.
When I next woke from my nap, lo and behold, here we are on the Mass Pike!

Which is a good thing, as we need a few maps of the Boston area.
Now I could have sworn that a year ago I bought the exact same maps when we came to visit the school, but they were nowhere to be found. So buy them again I did. And at $11, they had better be accurate and clear (They weren't. Who makes maps without mile markers?).
After the madness of Sarah's room (it's too small for two people, much less all 5 of us), we were off to church.

We were testing out a Korean church for Sarah that we had gotten info from.
But the thing is, it seemed pretty FOBy. A lot of people spoke some very fluent Korean. They were salty, that's how fresh they were (And yes, I wanted to lick one or two of the hot hot ladies there. LOL).
But it was mostly fun, especially the plate of too sweet doughnuts.
So sugerized they made Pepsie seem pretty bitter.
The final stage of today was just bumming around while they (Sarah and mom and other female relatives) cleaned up and arranged her room. Duk and I tried to get the internet connection to work on my laptop (I forgot to disable ZoneAlarm, thus earning me an hour's worth of frustrated failure), to make sure if I got Sarah a laptop it would work out fine.
And then it was time to relive my glory days in the dorm dining room.

On the way, Sarah and her parents took a detour to the music hall.
So the younger cousins and I had some fun playing catch with the hackeysack on the giant ass hill.
When the snow comes, it's gonna kick some serious sledding ass.
I ate, and ate, and ate. My plates (yes, plate
s) overflowed, and I still ate onward.
I was back in my element.
And I had a lot of fun scaring Sarah with horror stories of just how hard college (starting Tuesday) was really going to be.
Ah, good times.
