I'm getting very frustrated with my free ISP. It keeps kicking me out of my America's Army. I can apparently watch rounds without problem, but play around is a big deal. Actually, I really shouldn't blame my ISP, I should blame AAO v 1.9.0. On a 28.8 hookuip I was doing just fine with AAOv1.7.0. Damn upgrades.
So you can see pretty much what I've been wasting my life with right now. I do like the faster connection, but I'm worried about this free ISP deal (metconnect). A free ISP? What's the catch? Are these numbers not local? Am I getting slammed with massive long distance charges? How do they make money?
I'll probably switch over to Access4less pretty soon.

Isabella is coming. Tomorrow they say. Which is of course why we are having the best weather for the past two days. Skies so blue you can drink them, that perfect mix of warmth and low humidity, with nice chilly, but not too chilly, nights. If this is what accompanies every hurricane, then bring them on baby.
Except for the fact that I have not prepared a bit for if it comes right at us.

Ahh, another 12 hour workday, and nothing to really show for it.
Thank goodness I purchased 2 bags of candy yesterday, as according to the New York Times Science section, fatty foods act as a natural brake on short term stress. That and my curry chicken ensure that although I'm plumping up like a Christmas Goose, at least my mind isn't too overtaxed.
