The corner of the building where my cubicle sits rumbles contstantly. Everytime the 2 or 3 trains come roaring in and out of the station, my floor rumbles with it. At first, it's a dull roar, like an air conditioner turning on. Then it's a mild rumble, like a passing truck. And then at last the ground itself shakes, as if there's an unbalanced washing machine next door. Not enough to alarm you, or to even notice, but enough to make you wonder what the Mur it was that came and shook up your world. . . . . . . . . . . I found out that the lag isn't too bad on my pokey 28.8 dialup. Who'd have thought! Played a few rounds last night. I sucked, but at least I didn't commit any friendly fire like last time. Doh!
