Stupid Snow
The first mistake was to try and be productive at work, because that never works. Instead, I just end up staying late cleaning up all the mistakes of the previous few hours before. Although I did manage to get some things done, and anticipate some questions, and thus get some answers, ahead of time. The second mistake was not planning a little more ahead for my day off. I finally have a day to hang out in New York City with somebody late into the night, and instead I'm just watching HBO at the Holiday Inn. *sigh* The final mistake was going to the fancy diner, when I was really in the mood for greasy spoon diner food. On 57th street, between 8th and 9th avenues, is a little fancy looking diner. Moon Rock Diner. What the mur a moon rock has to do with a diner, I dunno, but there you have it. It was, as the girl who came out of the diner, beautiful inside. But when the waiter spends more time hitting on the girls in the next booth then on your tippable service, it's time to move on. When you don't get your house salad, when the menu clearly states that all entrees come with a house salad, it's time to move on. I'm a friendly guy tho, I let those bastards rip me off. I let everybody rip me off ... the first time. And so the Moon Rock Diner has now joined my arm length blacklist. Next time you are in the area, give Morningstar Diner a try instead (corner of 57th and 9th), the service sucks, but the prices are cheap, and you get all the food you paid for. Which is not a bad thing :: Having the brother around is fun, but not as much fun as I thought it would be. Cable TV seems to be sucking up a lot of time. He doesn't seem to be enjoying himself so much, and certainly not so much of the city, which just disappoints me. And tonight, when two single guys could take the city by storm ... the storm of the month rolls into town and slaps us around with 6 - 10 inches of snow. Stupid snow! I wanna go to a bar and pick up girls! leave us alone! :: Blogger has RSS feeds! If you don't know what that means, then my friend, thank the lucky stars, because that means you probably have a life. If you do know what that means, then this is exciting because it means that once Blogger adds commenting, you'll never have to think about MT again. Enjoy the XML!
