Owie Owie Ow!
For some unexplainable reason, ever since last night, my eyelid has swelled a little bit, and now it hurts to blink. This, of course, is a minor problem as I figure I blink at least once a minute. So, you say, just keep your eye closed. That makes it hurt even more. Where's that bottle of Visine? :: I was arguing with a co-worker whose morals a little too high for me to fathom, about Philip Morris Altria stock. Namely, he advocates dumping it from portfolios, based of course on the fact that they sell cancer in a stick. Another co-worker advocated a buy and hold model based on their great returns, diversification of revenue stream, recession resistance, and steady cash flow. I advocated promoting Altria, specifically because they sell cancer in a stick, and if we make smoking cool again, especially with an eye to the baby boomers, we'll kill them all and I'll still have Social Security when I retire. Being that they were boomers, they did not think so highly of my arguments. Being that the New York Times had a big article about the looming $56 trillion deficit we face because of retiring boomers, and the fact that it's my hard earned dollars that will disappear down the well of their retirement checks, I couldn't give a rat's a$$ what they think ... ... unless, of course, they would like a couple of cigarettes.
