A MidWinter's Tale
This morning I got up, on time for a pleasant change, because *ahem* I care about getting to work on time ... and I was freezing my butt off. I figured it was just the readjustment to spring. I was used to warm weather, and last night was little chilly, but it felt colder because I was used to the warmth. So I went to take a shower ... only there was no hot water. So I figured I was just cold since apparently there was no heat in the building. It was going to be very sunny, it would probably warm up later in the afternoon. No need for a sweater, it's May for Pete's Sake.
I needed that sweater. Turns out the temps had dropped to the mid 40's over the night, and despite the sun, the air was a very frigid mix. But that's OK, I like the cold. It gets too cold, I just blog from my bed and put the AC/DC converter between the sheets to warm up the bed. Put the laptop on my tummy ... mmm ... a modern day bed warming pan.

While tooling around with some trial accounting software (which btw, sucked), I came across something that a co-worker had installed on the shared machine: Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 Starter Edition. Turns out, despite my gut feeling, I actually enjoy using it. Some of the ideas, like dragging and dropping tags, are quite nice. Also enjoyable is seeing the picture density by month. A big problem, however, is that I've discovered that due to some error back in the middle of last year, nearly 1/3 of my pictures have the wrong date. Both the EXIF and the stamped date are incorrectly stating that I took these pictures before I owned the camera, which would be a nice little trick. Otherwise, not a bad find, softwarewise.
