More Blogger Tips and The Art of Motorcycle Madness
While cruising through the Hello forums I found out several interesting things I thought I'd share, besides the usual evangelizing of Hello and Blogger. First of all, you can use Hello as a stand alone blogging tool. All you have to do is log into Hello, and select BloggerBot as if you were going to send a photo. Only you don't actually upload a photo. If you just have the default instruction page as the highlighted photo, it'll just send the text and no picture. Instant desktop blogging client. Of course, how this is better then BlogThis!, I don't know. Secondly, I found out you CAN string together multiple pictures into one blog post in Hello. All you have to do is put in double pipes as the comment text (ex: "||"). So there you have it, now you too are qualified enough to take over Biz Stone's job. :: Coming back through Chinatown from the river and taking a few pictures of the Manhatten Bridge for The Bridge Project, I came across a scene you normally don't find in Chinatown, a neverending stream of bikers. Mostly lowriders, a couple of black pocketrockets, but mostly shiny chromed deals. Some people see Bikers and see trouble. I see Bikers, getting along amiably with cops, and think it must be the Blue Angels summer convention. Either way, all those parked bikes in Chinatown means one thing: Tourist Dollars Being Spent. And that's a good thing, especially in Chinatown. Oh, and although on paper ladies and bikes and leather adds up to tastiness, sadly, it rarely does in real life. Just thought you'd want to know in case it doesn't make The Gothamist. ![]() I am officially deafenned now. ![]()
