I'm getting tired of this whole thing I'm doing. It occurs to me that the people I deal with are so involved as to how I'm affecting their lives, they aren't even considering how they are affecting my life. And my consideration and accomidation, rather then being seen as politeness or kindness, is being interpreted as some sort of license to exploit me. I am a nice guy, or at least I try to be, but I think this whole doormat crap is going to have to stop soon. The year is halfway over, and I haven't really even begun that whole "year of Gene" thing I promised myself at New Year's. ::
