Bag full of explosives goes off in crowded subway station. Ok, so it was only a bag of fireworks, but still. If the cop hadn't discovered the bag and directed people away from the scene, it could have been worse. I didn't think it would be front page coverage nationally, but surely if there's room to report on Martha-gate on CNN.com's homepage, there's room for this story. Especially with the RNC convention coming to town. The blogsphere failed me too, as the trifecta of NYCblog sites failed to make even passing mention. Unlike the Gothamist, Curbed, or Gawker I guess riding the subway is for the little people like me. *Correction - 10AM* Gothamist is now reporting on the subway story.
