On a whim, a possible trip to Detroit to see my buddy has morphed into an end of summer run at Florida. Specifically, Fort Lauderdale. For some odd reason (it's too hot, the kids are back in school, it's hurricane season) plane tickets are insanely cheap. $150 cheap. So, on a whim and a prayer, we're heading down there for a little weekend.
