Captain Crap and the World of Poor Interface
So I'm all pumped up to see Captain Sky and the World of Tomorrow, which looks cool enough that I might actually enjoy spending money. I even went ahead and visited the movie web site, which I never do, and found a nifty sounding game being offerred for free. If you know anything about me, I am all about the free, especially free video games. I still play America's Army even though I suck at it and the cheaters have invaded. I use Blogger instead of Typepad, I use Hello and Flickr because of the free. I was about to switch to gmail full time rather then pay for YahooPro. I loves me the free. The stats are quite impressive for a free game. 45MB, needs a 64MB nvidia FX card, 512 RAM. You can customize your plane, go head to head against online players, even change the paint schemes. Too bad the controls are total crap. Using the mouse to pilot a plane is just stupid, having a poor mouse interface is just asinine. Oh, and occasionally, the plane will go into a nosedive an crash or your bullets will not register as hits. But that didn't stop me from playing for 2 hours. I loves me the free games.
