As expected, I got caught up in some random crap at work, and was not able to race out of the office until well after 6pm. Coupled with the fact that I forgot to bring directions, meant that I got to the Apple Store well after the event had started. Missed the chance to get a chair. Missed my chance to get names attached to faces. Missed my chance to get a seat. But that's OK, as it meant I was free to wander around and take some pictures. Got a few usable ones of the event itself, and not your standard speaker lectern thing, but a few nice shots of all the people milling around from behind. PLUS, I got to take a whole bunch of pics of the glass traverse in the store. The best part was after the event was over, and I was taking some follow-up pictures of the Apple Store, a store employee came over and told me that they don't allow picture taking in the store. Perhaps she did not get the memo that the store would be filled with amateur photographers.
