It's Raining Poo!
This was not the way to start my morning. While brushing my teeth, I heard a drip drip dipping sound. Since we've had some plumbing problems in the bathroom the past week, I figured a fix had come undone. But 'twas not the case. So, I followed the dripping sound to ... ... the kitchen. Where, streaming down from the ceiling, giant brown drops were falling all over my refridgerator and floor. Splashing brown liquid all over the walls, the cabinets, and running down the sides of the fridge. I thought it was the upstairs neighbors and their bathtub, as it smelled mostly of fungus and rotting wood, so I wasn't too upset at the time. I later found out it was, in fact, a broken toilet pipe up on the 6th floor. After the initial panic, and the throwing of mass quantities of paper towels, common sense finally took over and the buckets came out. Of course, the buckets didn't really help with the splashing problem, so more mass quantities of paper towels were necessary. When it finally stopped, I was already late for work, so a quick mop up was all I could muster. After work, I look forward to spending my night hunched over with a bucket of bleach, and yet even increasing quanities of newly purchased paper towels. So much for working on my resume. :: Bowling Update: Game 1: 142 Game 2: 174 Although I had a pair of stellar outings, it didn't clinch the games. However, it did keep us close enough behind for our closer, Betty, to come up big on both 10th frames, to win both games in a squeaker.
