In trying to get out of my laid off work funk, I tried to do some preliminary Christmas shopping. I think I'm going to stick with my preliminary budget and not the austerity budget, mostly because the former is only $250 for 15 people anyway. I still have to work on cards too. My coworker convinced me to go with her to her child's school, as they had a holiday fair inside. I wish I took more pictures of that sorry sorry place. It felt more like a flea market then a fair, and the goods were just below the price point where you thought it was a bargain and instead wondered if it wasn't all just junk. But it was a nice distraction, although a nearly complete waste of time. I did get home early enough to FINALLY watch A Beautiful Mind. I've only had it out for a week now. I *heart* Netflix.
