The blogsphere is abuzz, ABUZZ I tells ya. First of all, the obvious, kottke has gone full time. More amazingly, he has gone for profit ... without advertising. How he'll make it work, I don't know. I figure it'll go about 6 months before he starts putting in secretly sponsored links, ala fark. Well, maybe not, but if this is going to be a profitable (or even break-even) venture, I can't see how he'll do it otherwise. I do applaud his courage, and maybe I'll even contribute to the cause. The second buzzy event is that Jen of gothamist.com just got engaged. This news, however, was not blogworthy enough for gothamist.com. That is some harsh harsh editing. Not important enough for your own blog. Harsh.
