Seems like the story on the copyrighted sculpture in Chicago has really picked up a head of steam on the net. I first found out about it via flickr two days ago, in a seperate discussion about the Paris Eiffel Tower copyright issue. And then quickly afterwards BoingBoing picked up the piece, as did a few other notable blogs.

Now there's apparently a mass call for civil disobedience, which in this day and age means heading down and taking an "illegal" picture of "the bean". Since I live in NYC and can't very well afford to jet set it down, I figure I'd do my part and pass along the word.
