Surf Without the Sea

I remember back 10 years ago there was talk about building waterparks with this really cool artificial wave technology that would create the perfect wave everytime. Kids could swim in the shallows, swimmers could do the deep end, and surfers could ride waves. All on a nice artifical beach. But it never took off. This, on the other hand, looks way cooler. And artificial wave, no more then 3 inches deep, you just ride the surf. No need to catch a wave, it's a constant standing wave you just ride and ride and ride. Sort of like those lap pools which are only 12 ft. long, and a pump keeps an even flow of water running so can just swim in place. Now I have to work out so I can hit the waterpark and have some fun.
