Home Heart Monitor

I come from a lineage of medical professionals. 1 cousin is a nurse, mom was an RN, aunt was a pediatrician, and the bro is a doctor-in-hazing training. It's only natural that things like this geek me out, not the least of which because it often offers cheaper almost-as-reliable data as the more expensive professional equipment that my family has had to buy (suckers!). For some odd reason my family is obsessed with heart pressure (mostly mom and bro). I am too, but more heart rate then pressure. Occasionally when we have a get together, there will be checking of pressure, you know, just in case. It's a little too high, a little too low perhaps, the debate will go on for half an hour. Why, I don't know, it just does. Next time, I'll be prepared to actually join the debate this time around. Should be lots of fun. Although, the cheap bastard in me wonders if $42 is abit much to spend for a compact home heart pressure machine/wristband if you don't really need one.
