Really, I don't know what it is that the MTA does. Clearly it's not transportation. And it's not building or maintaining infrastructure. Besides suck up hard earned dollars and maing me late, I really can't figure out what the MTA is really good for nowadays. Why the rant? Perhaps it was the fact that I had to cool my heels for 15 minutes waiting for a train, only to have it blow by, and then having to wait ANOTHER 5 minutes for the next train. Or maybe it was last night where I had to wait 15 minutes for a train, which then went very slowly with a few in tunnel delays. Delays for WHAT? There's no train ahead! I know! I was waiting for 15 minutes waiting for one! Stupid MTA.
