The Week In Changes
I've been looking to change things up a little. And as I was instructing some of the children I tutor, the right answer to a bad question is to tell the truth ... and then add spin control. It hasn't been too successful, but at least I've been able to identify some of the more pressing problems and I'm making changes. First of all, I am spending too much time in flickr.com. I'm switching to an alternating schedule, where I spend every other day in flickr. Secondly I'm actually planning ahead and putting together a rough schedule. A framework, if you will, for what's going on. I'm going to bed earlier, getting up earlier, and getting out of work earlier. Because I waste too much time late at night doing silly things on the internet. Which also means that I'm going to blog my posts without procrastination. I've developed a nasty habit of openning up the blog, then wasting an hour just surfing the net, procrastinating the blog post. I'm blogging, then logging off. No more fooling around. I was going to start using my Clie more often to schedule things, but the damn thing keeps dying on me. If I haven't used it for 3 weeks, why does the battery keep draining?! Stupid $300 piece of shit. Not that anybody uses a PalmPilot anymore, but stay away from the Clie PEG-T665C, it's total crap. Let's see if this improves my quality of life.
