Last night I went to Restaurant Week with a co-worker. We went to Delmonico's in downtown, and the place was mad mad posh. I'd post pictures, but unfortunately my phone line is still down, so that's not going to really work. I love restaurant week, becuase I can sample restaurants I normally can't afford to go to. It's a little like prom all over again, in that I feel all like a kid playing grownup. But I had a lovely time, except for the part where the bill ran up to $65/person. Which isn't a lot for Delmonico's, but certainly calls into question the whole purpose of doing restaurant week (the economical dining experience). Anyway, just wanted to make note of the fact that I'm still very sleepy from my 16oz steak.
