Just something to jot down for me to remember in my old age. Thursday: NYC Photobloggers Meetup/ Flickr meetup was surreal. More of the normal flickr crew showed up, and hardly anybody from the NYCPB community showed. So it was good that we combined the two, but sad at the same time. Managed to convince someone to go digital and now she's on flickr too (yay!). Afterwards crossed the street from The magician to drop by $2 PBR's at Welcome To The Johnsons. Saw an almost fight, and photographed some people. Some band guy talked about setting me up as a band pro photo guy for some West Coast bands, but besides the fact that my photography sucks, I dunno if I'd be able to just drop my day job and head out to the West Coast to do some band shots for a few weeks. But it was very interesting indeed. Friday, Sat, and Sunday kinda all blew on by, tho what I did I don't know. Nothing important, that's for sure. Just hung out with Ilsoon. Had a few burgers, bowled a little at Bowlmore Lanes, got stuck with 3rd wheel duties, and played a little Halo 2. For some reason I can't get myself working at full efficiency at work. Maybe I'm burned out. Maybe I'm depressed. Maybe I'm lonely. Who knows. All I know is that I'm not getting as much accomplished as I want to, and that's personal and professional. Im a in a rut. Maybe I should take a few days off and just chill. In Canada. Because It's frick'n HOT around here.
