Got an invite to join Brian Van for a little event at a bar in the East Village last night. This being Brian, I figured it would be either some sort of bar media party or some sort of dating related event. I packed my camera, got my flash bounce all charged up, and headed off to take pictures of the beautiful people. Well, as it turns out there were beautiful people, but it was just a social gathering orchestrated by Brian. Which was good, as I got to talk to a lot more people then when I normally attend one of these media/hip things. The photos I got weren't very good at all, I'm probably going to go ahead and get myself an Ultrabounce (and send the bill to my brother). And the mojitos (OK, the one mojito) were a little too strong for sensitive ole me. But all in all a good time was had, and had for suprisingly little money. A good night indeed.
